In order to comprehensively enhance the company's emergency response capabilities and strengthen employees' awareness of fire safety, on April 21st, our company jointly conducted the 2025 fire emergency drill with the Wangwenzhuang Fire Brigade in Xiqing District. This drill was held in the company's production plant area, with the participation of company leaders, representatives of employees from various departments, and firefighters from the fire brigade.

--Live Exercise: Practical Testing of Emergency Capability

At 9:30 am, the drill began. The overall commander of the drill issued an emergency evacuation notice, and employees gathered for emergency evacuation. Employees from each workshop arrived at the designated safe area within 3 minutes to gather.

After the personnel participating in the emergency evacuation drill have gathered, the team will count the number of people and the overall commander of the drill will explain the purpose and content of the drill.

3. The deputy commander-in-chief will explain the usage of portable dry powder fire extinguishers and fire hoses, and conduct on-site operation demonstrations.

4. Enterprise personnel carry out practical operations on the use of fire extinguishers;

(1) Before use, invert the bottle several times to loosen the dry powder inside the cylinder;

(2) Remove the lead seal and remove the safety pin;

(3) Holding the nozzle with your left hand and holding the handle with your right hand, at a distance of two meters from the flame, use your right hand to press down on the handle with force, and swing the nozzle with your left hand, spraying dry powder to cover the burning area until the fire is completely extinguished.

5. Professional firefighters carry out the actual operation of fire hoses, and the specific steps are as follows:

(1) Water hose connection. When the fire hose is connected to the hose interface, a layer of soft protective material must be placed on it, and then fastened with galvanized iron wire;

(2) The use of water hoses. When using a fire hose, the high-pressure resistant hose should be connected to a location close to the water pump. After filling, the hose should be prevented from twisting or suddenly bending, and the hose interface should be protected from collision and damage.

(3) Laying of water hoses. When laying water hoses, it is necessary to avoid sharp objects and various oils. When laying water hoses vertically upwards, water hose hooks should be used. When laying water hoses through traffic arteries, water hose bridges should be padded. When passing through railways, water hoses should pass under the track to avoid being crushed by wheels and interrupted water supply.

After the drill, Chen Xuejun, the general manager of the company, pointed out at the on-site summary meeting that "this drill was organized in an orderly manner, handled properly, and achieved the expected results. However, at the same time, some employees' emergency response was not fast enough, and other problems were exposed. All departments should draw lessons from this and continue to improve
